Excuses, excuses
October 8th, 2007,It’s been too long since my last post. I was preoccupied with work connected to our city’s Task Force on Nonmotorized Transportation, which I chair. The group organized two October 3 events: Walk to School Day at the Northfield Middle School and a community meeting on biking and walking that evening.
I’ll report more on those events in another post shortly.

Ross, We had a smaller turnout at the listening session than we had hoped - about twenty people. But we did hear some useful comments and are compiling the results, including from some surveys we took.
Two comments that stand out in my mind were from Bridgewater Township residents who are concerned about neighborhoods, such as the Bittersweet neighborhood, being isolated from other areas, particularly by County Road 1, which does not have shoulders.
