About me, the author: I was born in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, in 1965 and spent most of my childhood years in Plymouth, Minnesota; both of these towns are in the western suburbs of Minneapolis-St. Paul. I graduated from Wayzata High School. I received a B.A from the University of Minnesota and a Ph.D. in English language and literature from Princeton University, writing a dissertation on the poet W.H. Auden. I have taught as a lecturer in the University of Minnesota English Department and since 1998 have worked in the field of educational assessment. I currently live in Northfield, Minnesota, with my wife and daughter.
